Britney Is The Best Selling Female Artist Of The 2000's

Yahoo!’s Chart Watch has compiled a list of the 20 best selling artists of the current decade (2000’s). Britney ranks at #5 on the overall list, but is actually the #1 best selling female artist of the decade. Only one other solo female ranks on the list, Celine Dion at #20.

5. Britney Spears, 22,937,000. First charted: 1999. Spears, 27, is the youngest artist on this list, edging out Josh Groban by one year. She is also #1 female artist in this decade. Her 2000 album, Oops!…I Did It Again, is her best-seller of the decade. It has sold 9,183,000 copies. Spears was the #108 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

Britney Done Photoshoot For 'Elle Magazine' ?

Britney Spears has cleaned up her act -- but she's still kind of a mess. The pop tart took time off from her "Circus" tour to do an Elle magazine shoot, our spy says, and it was a disaster. "They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes -- and, well, let's just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn't pretty." A rep for Spears didn't return e-mails.

Britney Is Shooting The Radar Video At...

Britney Spears headed up the road this morning from L.A. to the Bacara Resort & Spa just north of Santa Barbara where she’s shooting the video for her next single, the fabulously titled Radar.

It’s a two day shoot that involves almost 100 people including dancers, the camera crew and security.

Brit even brought her kids Preston and Jayden with her.

Last week we showed you the just released art from the “Radar” single.

This is an excerpt from a "not so nice" article on 'Lainey Gossip.' I refuse to use all the material from the article, writer bitch acts like she was in attendance at the wedding or some shit. Clearly she was left off the guest list, and is taking out her aggressions, in a bullshit article.

Britney looked amazing. In a brown dress to the ankle, v in the front and back, hair was straight, didn’t look budget, good makeup, and very white teeth. Always the teeth. While Jamie Lynn mingled with guests, happily showed off her baby with her recovered baby daddy, and acted like a normal person, Britney spent the entire time sitting at a table in the back, with her assistant and a bodyguard and a man they all called “the douchey boyfriend”, believed to be her agent Jason Trawick who was seen in the Bahamas with her last week. Trawick walked around like he’s better than everyone else, giving the impression that he was wasting his time at a Southern wedding with people who don’t matter.

Meanwhile, the relentless push of Team Britney continues.

They have more plans, endless plans, in the works. Two weeks ago, Britney reshot her Candie’s ads with Matthew Rolston and word is, her Machine is considering a photo book in time for the holidays to go along with a couple of Christmas songs. Money, money, money…

Determined to make up the money that’s been squandered over the last few years. That’s apparently the excuse. They want to get the bank account back up to what it was. And they’ve promised her she can quit when they fill up the tank again.

In case you gave up reading in the middle of the excerpt, apparently Britney has some cool things coming up, in 2009. A photo book, and some Christmas songs! That sounds good. I love Christmas music, and I think it's time we had a good Britney Christmas album. Don't you? I'll totally buy it.

Britney Attends 'Laura Lynne's' Wedding

After making a big splash in the Bahamas the day before, Britney Spears emerged Saturday in Amite, La., where she made a low-key appearance as an "honorary" bridesmaid at the wedding of her cousin, Laura Lynne Covington.

"When her brother walked her down the aisle, she looked stunningly calm and beautiful," says one wedding guest. "She was very pretty, low-key. She was not the center of everything, just pretty and calm and collected.”

The wedding took place at the First United Methodist Church, the same church where the funeral for Covington's mother Sandra, who died of ovarian cancer, took place in January 2007.

Later, at the wedding reception, the pop star hung out with her sister and fellow bridesmaid, Jamie Lynn, who toted baby Maddie, and "sat at a table off to the side and visited with local people she knew," says the guest.

"There was no fanfare," noted the guest. "With all the star power Britney and her family command, it was still the bride's day."

Britney's Boys To Join Her In Europe

Two months ago, when Britney Spears embarked on her first concert tour in almost five years, she was joined by two of her biggest — and littlest! — supporters: her young sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.

And now that Brit is wrapping up the North American leg of her tour, OK! can exclusively reveal that the pop superstar will continue to have her boys cheering her on when she heads to Europe in June.

In an exclusive interview in the next issue of OK! — on sale everywhere Thursday — Mark Vincent Kaplan, attorney for Brit's ex-husband Kevin Federline reveals that his client is "more than happy to help facilitate Britney being able to see the boys on the European leg of the tour."

Kaplan admits that, though Kevin has custody of the two boys, he realizes that Britney "should not have to sacrifice visits with her boys while pursuing her career. Kevin has even been able to make sure that Britney can maintain the boys' regular schedule, even though she's on tour."

Brit Having A Blast With Sons During Tour, Kisses Them At Concert

Britney Spears might be working her butt off on her comeback tour, but this busy mom is also taking time out to play with her sons during their visiting time.

On Friday Brit, Sean Preston and Jayden James headed down to the pool at the Mohegan Sun Casino – where she performed Saturday and Sunday night – for some fun in the sun. The trio had a great time together, an eyewitness reports.

"[Sean] was running around the pool and jumping in off the sides," the eyewitness tells OK!. "He was a great swimmer. Both kids had floatees on. Britney was playing with them in the pool."

As much fun as she has with her family, Brit is also dedicated to staying in fighting form, even with the high-energy workout she gets every time she performs – she worked out at the gym at the casino which was closed off to the rest of the public on Friday and Saturday.

At least it's not all work and no play!
